- TTM (hair pulling) is an impulse control or psychiatric behavioural disorder where a person urges to pull out hair from their scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, beard and body hair. The main predisposing factors are anxiety, depression, emotional trauma as well as a nutritional deficiency.
